Steampunk Reading Challenge 2012

I am rather hopeless when it comes to joining reading challenges. What I think I can get read and what I actually read don’t always match up so I think for 2012 I will only join 1 (maybe 2) reading challenges and I have found the perfect one as I am a HUGE steampunk fan.

I think I will try for the Gears level which is 12 books.

I own all of these in paperback, e-book or audio so I know I will read them. The titles with a line through have been read.

1. Soulless by Gail Carriger
2. Changeless by Gail Carriger
3. Blameless by Gail Carriger
4. Heartless by Gail Carriger
5. Timeless by Gail Carriger
6. The Society of Steam, Book One: The Falling Machine by Andrew Mayer
7. The Clockwork Three by Matthew J. Kirby.
8. Boneshaker by Cherie Priest
9. Clementine by Cherie Priest
10.Dreadnought by Cherie Priest
11.Ganymede by Cherie Priest
12.humm…TBA

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. ~AU

Change..

Life belongs to the living, and he who lives must be prepared for changes.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Normally, I love change. I welcome it with open arms and anticipation. However, this year has brought its share of change that has caused mixed feelings. Painful changes, with the passing of my father at the young age 51, and my husband of 8 years asking for a divorce.  Exciting changes with my girls and I getting ready to embark on an adventure in full time RV living.  So while I am still welcoming the change my arms are not open as wide as they normally are.

I do know one thing though and that is my Future is in the hands of YAHWEH and I know that I can’t trust He will not lead me on the wrong path.
